Welcome to Tracy's Camp
It is with great excitement that we begin a new season in the journey here at TC! For six years, Tracy's Camp has opened its doors to children of all kinds with the message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We have provided them with strong biblical teaching, Spirit filled worship, challenging messages from God's word, fun activities and opportunities for lasting friendship. We have labored toward our calling and vision to provide long-term discipleship to children and now the journey continues.
A journey that requires faith and obedience as we answer the call of God in reaching out not solely to the children but to their fathers as well. We have already begun planning and programming to provide opportunities of ministry where a father can recieve the truth of God's Word while spending time with his child.
We believe that God's primary method of discipleship and the most biblical form of childrens ministry is where the father is teacher, pastor and friend. To put it simply, we have realized that there are multitudes of men who need to be equipped and encouraged through the Gospel of Jesus Christ to live for Him as men of faith becoming Godly husbands and fathers.
What does it take to raise a child in the discipline and instruction of the Lord? Long-term commitment, daily teaching, accountability, discipline, and intimate communication are all vital to this task. It is clear who is more available, capable and most importantly responsible to raise a child.
Ephesians 6:4 "Fathers, do not provoke your children to anger, but bring them up in the discipline and instruction of the Lord."
Deuteronomy 6:1-9, Proverbs 22:6, Malachi 4:4-6, 1 Timothy 3:1-5
It is our prayer that you would join us as we journey in becoming the courageous men of God that our wives, children and our children's children so desperately need us to be.
