H.O.W. Discipleship Program

H.O.W.(Hunters Of the Word) Discipleship Program is a year round program designed to identify, encourage and train young boys and girls who are hungry to grow in their relationship with Christ. Campers walk side by side with other campers, counselors and staff as we challenge and grow with one another throughout the year. It is our hope that those campers who participate in the Discipleship Program will one day be Tracy's Camp Counselors and spiritual leaders in their churches, schools and communities.

Step 1.) Summer Camp

H.O.W. to LIVE and LOVE
An introduction to Tracy's Camp.

Summer camp is an awesome time full of activities and adventure where we share the wonderful news of Jesus Christ and challenge each camper to live for Him. Following summer camp, campers may apply to participate in step 2 of the Discipleship Program. Our counselors and staff review each application and make selections based on spiritual maturity and desire (hunger).

Step 2.) Discipleship Weekends (Fall, Winter, Spring)

H.O.W. to Learn

A three weekend discipleship program that builds the camper in the knowledge and teachings of Jesus through the study of God's Word.. Campers in each age group attend (1) Fall, (1) Winter, and (1) Spring weekend for a total of three weekends. Each group of 12 will remain together during the course of all three weekends building lasting relationships with each other and with Christ. The activities for these weekends can include canoe trips, camping trips, backpacking adventures, fishing,  and hunting.

Step 3.) Servant Leadership (Missions, Counselors In Training)

H.O.W. to Lead

Those campers that attend all three discipleship weekends will be able to participate in our Servant Leadership week in the Spring where local missions and leadership training will be the emphasis. Those campers age 14 and up will also be given the opportunity to work as C.I.T. (Counselor In Training) during a week of summer camp the following summer.
